Overview

Located at an elevation of 1400 metres (4,600 ft) this resort has retained its elegant atmosphere, grand hotels and jingling sleighs ever since back in the 1930's when little rack railway took wealthy winter sports enthusiasts to Wengen.

Club Med® built its resort here in 1976, just outside the charming village making it the perfect base to explore new cultures and the amazing surrounding scenery. Each Resort is a starting point from which to explore the wonderful sights each country has to offer, while your children enjoy the facilities specifically devised for the different age groups and of which are run by professionals.

Accommodation

A 207-room hotel comprising two buildings linked by a corridor. It is located in the heart of the Resort.

Choose between a functional Club room that offers simple, honest comfort. Edelweiss Club Rooms are situated in the annexe, linked by a covered corridor to the main building.

Additional options include a comfortable and elegant "Palace" Club room. These are located throughout the main hotel, and are available with view over the valley.

Some Tips For an Ideal Holiday

• To make progress under the best conditions, stick with your chosen activity throughout your holiday.
• Don�t forget your ID photo for your ski-lift pass.
• You absolutely must pick up your ski-lift pass on the day you arrive so as not to lose half of the day on which you obtain it.
• Look after your ski-lift pass. It will only be refunded if you have taken out Worry-Free Skiing cover.
• Avoid bad surprises: snowboards, monoskis and snowblades are not allowed in downhill skiing lessons.

Think About Following a Few Simple Rules

• Get into shape before you leave home
• Consult local safety rules on www.mdem.org
• Warm up before you ski as well as after a long or cold journey by ski-lift. Take advantage of the stretching lessons on offer in our Villages.
• Check your bindings are properly adjusted each morning. Specialised GOs are ready to listen to you.
• Always have your sunglasses, gloves and hats with you.
• You and your children are advised to wear a helmet (obligatory at Cervinia).
• Never go off-piste skiing without a professional. Outings are offered as part of expert or level 3 lessons. You must hire the necessary safety equipment (ARVA) at the resort.

You will find a rental store at the heart of each Village. Equipment to suit all levels of experience which is regularly replenished and selected from among the best products on the market. You can hire it or we can look after your own equipment. The wonderful powdery snow is all yours...
